Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Network
The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Network at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) aims to strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and communities to support student success. As a Priority 3 resource under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), FACE promotes workshops, trainings, and events hosted by SCOE departments and regional partners on topics including parent engagement, effective communication, and academic support strategies. SCOE encourages Local Educational Agency (LEA) teams to promote family involvement and support families in navigating the educational system and accessing opportunities that strengthen family-school partnerships. The FACE coordination team is a cross-collaborative group of department leads, including Administration, Early Learning, Inclusive Practices, Seeds of Partnership, Community Schools Initiative, and additional department partners.
