California Includes
California Includes is a statewide project led by the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) to expand understanding of the value and impact of inclusive education for all learners. Grounded in a vision of belonging, equity, and rightful presence, the project elevates research, stories, and evidence-based practices that highlight the academic, social, and lifelong benefits of inclusion. Through partnerships with state agencies, educators, families, and community organizations, California Includes develops and shares accessible resources, tools, and professional learning opportunities across California. This work supports a unified, statewide movement to ensure students with disabilities are meaningfully included, have access to high-quality learning and a high school diploma, and are supported and valued in every community.
