In response to the current pandemic situation, many art organizations have restructured their art offerings online. The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE), SCOE School of Education, many Sacramento art organizations worked collaboratively to create a "catalog" to disseminate information regarding the virtual art experiences and education provided by local organizations.

“Art strengthens our children and our communities, even while we are physically isolated,” said L. Steven Winlock, Executive Director of the School of Education. “I’m grateful for continued partnerships with our Sacramento area art organizations, who are striving to provide art education for every student, every day!”

The variety of art experiences and art education opportunities are intended to support home learning, enhance schools’ and school districts’ distance learning, and to support art education programs. Programs are available at low or no cost to families and include opportunities in the areas of dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts.
