On May 6, 2003, the Sacramento County Board of Education adopted Board Resolution No. 03-06 declaring the week of May 18 through May 24 as Classified School Employee Week. Receptions honoring Sacramento County Office of Education classified employees were held at three central SCOE sites on Wednesday, May 21.
Classified School Employee Week recognized more than 400 SCOE classified employees for the essential services they provide to the education system. The recognition coincided with the California State Classified School Employee Week.
