Spanish for Native Speakers, Grades 9-12
There are an insufficient number of standards-based textbooks/instructional materials for students enrolled in Spanish for Native Speakers.
Earth Science, Grades 9-12
There is a sufficient number of Prentice Hall, Conceptual Physical Science (1999) and Glencoe/Merrill, Earth Science (1993) textbooks for students enrolled in Earth Science. Teachers state that the Prentice Hall, Conceptual Science text is not used. Based on the age of the Glencoe/Merrill, Earth Science text (1993), we believe the textbooks are not consistent with the content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and State Board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for Science is 2003 and the State content standards were adopted in 1998.)
