Annual Directory Includes Extensive Information About Local Education Agencies

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Communications Office has begun distributing the 2006 Sacramento County Public Schools Directory. Published annually, the document includes important information about SCOE departments and programs, Sacramento County public school districts, and schools within each district.

The general public may order copies of the 152-page printed publication for $20. Public schools and district offices throughout Sacramento County receive set numbers of complimentary copies.

Last year, SCOE began providing the document as a freely downloadable PDF file that could be printed or searched electronically. The 2006 Sacramento County Public Schools Directory is available again this year as a free, downloadable PDF.

New this year, SCOE now lists both school and district contact information online in a faster, more convenient HTML format. Visitors can visit the SCOE Web site to quickly access contact information provided by schools and districts throughout Sacramento County without needing to download the entire directory.
