In this “Classroom in the Kitchen” video series, culinary instructors from Leo A. Palmiter Jr./Sr. High School and El Centro Jr./Sr. High School take you step by step through family-friendly recipes that are designed to try at home. Key scientific terms and explanations of various ingredients and processes are presented, and it’s a great opportunity to brush up on math skills: weighing, measuring, and calculating ingredients and portions. The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) partnered with the Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium (SECC) to provide this video series that supports learning in the kitchen.
