Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held by the Sacramento County Committee on School District Organization to receive public testimony and input from the community on trustee area maps for the proposed North Unified School District. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the County Committee is expected to adopt a trustee area map, which will be appended to the County Committee’s final recommendation on the reorganization of the Grant Joint Union High School District submitted to the State Board of Education in January 2004. The public hearing will enable the County Committee to receive public input on trustee area maps, but is not a forum for public debate on the proposal to reorganize the Grant Joint Union High School District, which has already been submitted to the State Board of Education. The public hearing is scheduled as follows:

The trustee area maps that will be the subject of the public hearing, and accompanying information, will be available by January 17 at www.scoe.net. These materials will also be available at the public hearing.
