Requesting Assistance

Requesting technical assistance from SEEDS is easy. Here’s how it works!

1 Contact the SEEDS Project by phone at (916) 228-2379, or fill out the Technical Assistance Request form and submit it directly online.
2 A SEEDS Project staff member will discuss your request with you and determine if your request falls within our scope of work. A preliminary plan is then developed and potential consultants explored.
3 Following the initial determination, the request moves forward for approval and input from the SEEDS Project Director and the California Department of Education, Special Education Division Consultant, who is regionally assigned to the requesting LEA/Organization.
4 Once approved, the Technical Assistance Plan will be set into action. Consultants are formally assigned to assist your LEA/Organization with the request. If the request is not approved, SEEDS staff will consult with you to explore some alternative, existing resources or other support options!
