Methods of Technical Assistance
Technical assistance support is determined through an intake conversation between the requesting LEA and SEEDS Project staff. The type of technical assistance provided through SEEDS also directly relates to the CDE-SED priorities for each given year. SEEDS offers many areas of expertise, some examples include:
- Individual Consultation Onsite, Online and/or by Phone
- Small and/or Large Group Training
- Facilitation of Group Planning Process
- Program Assessment and Recommendations
- Referrals to other Related Resources or Programs
- Identification of Appropriate Print or Audiovisual Materials
- Arrangement of Onsite Consultation with SEEDS Visitation Sites
- Presentations/Trainings on varied Early Care and Education Topics
- Research and Data Analysis
- Support to the California Department of Education- Special Education Division’s Quality Assurance Process
