Parent Training Modules
Improving Relationships and Results: Building Family and School Partnerships
In response to the Parent Involvement Indicator (B-8) of the State Performance Plan, the National Center for Special Education Accountability Monitoring (NCSEAM) developed seven comprehensive training modules. The modules are designed around specific evidence-based strategies, which support parent involvement in student success. The modules include: Communication, IEP, Home-School Note, Reading, Math, Behavior, and Homework. Materials for each module (e.i. PPT, handouts, overview, checklists) are available for download.
We’d love to hear about your experiences in using these training materials. Please contact us. We’d like to offer your insight to others who may be interested in using these tools in their program.
