Debbie is the parent of a child with autism spectrum disorder. She brings many years of experience as an early childhood educator, trainer, and college instructor. She has been an instructor for many years at both Stanford University and at Shasta College.
Debbie is passionate about early childhood special education and supporting children and families. She is especially committed to raising autism awareness. She has presented at state and national conferences, local boards and councils and led numerous workshops and trainings. She brings her knowledge of early childhood education, special needs and the personal understanding of what it is like to be a parent of a child with a disability.
