With a strong knowledge of research and evidence-based practices and many years of teaching in infant-toddler and preschool special education programs, Dillon has extensive experience providing training and technical assistance to preschool special educators and early childhood educators on topics related to inclusion, curriculum, quality instructional practices, and collaboration. Support for administrators and instructional leaders includes program development, LRE and access to general education, and interagency partnership/agreements. All work reflects a strong commitment to inclusion, family involvement, and promotion of children's social-emotional and communication competence.

Current Position, Organization, Project
As Coordinator for Early Education Services at the Orange County Department of Education, Special Education Services Unit, Dillon provides Early Start/Part C technical support, staff development and interagency coordination to Orange County SELPAs and partner agencies. She also serves as the Early Childhood Special Education Lead for Region 9 of the California Preschool Instructional Network (San Diego, Imperial and Orange Counties); as a state trainer for the Desired Results access Project; and the California Center for Social Emotional Foundations of Early Learning (CSEFEL) initiative.
