The Prevention & Student Services (PASS) Department provides programs, services and professional development opportunities addressing a variety of youth development and prevention education focus areas, including positive youth development, school safety, violence prevention, substance abuse prevention, and mental health promotion. PASS facilitates several networks and collaborative groups, including the County Prevention Coordinators' Council. PASS provides workshops and professional development opportunities throughout the year. Refer to Prevention Education Materials for curricula and other instructional support materials produced by PASS.
Educators, parents/family members, community members and others interested in prevention education and support services that promote educational and personal success. Sacramento County school districts and local, regional, and statewide partners.
