Child care is an essential option, providing flexibility for families while supporting early childhood development by fostering social, emotional, and cognitive skills. To assess child care needs in Sacramento County, the Sacramento County Local Child Care and Development Planning Council (LPC) is conducting an anonymous survey.
The Sacramento County LPC would like to hear from families with children between 0–12 years of age—and providers who work with that age group. It’s asking Sacramento County parents/guardians and child care providers to take the survey. The results will help the Planning Council determine how best to support local families and early care and education programs, ensuring that the community has access to affordable, high-quality care.
Surveys are available in seven languages (links below) and should be completed by February 28, 2025. Please consider participating. Every voice matters!
