During a virtual ceremony today, four Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) students were recognized for their successes in a program for young adults participating in SCOE’s special education programs.
These young adults represent SCOE programs serving students with moderate to severe disabilities throughout Sacramento County, including classes at Galt High School (Galt JUHSD), Natomas High School (Natomas USD), and George Washington Carver High School (Sacramento City USD). The students have participated in SCOE special education programs throughout their educational years, starting in SCOE’s Infant Development Program and continuing through young adulthood.
SCOE’s Special Education Department provides special education services to the 13 school districts within Sacramento County for students from birth through 22 years of age.
