In an effort to promote health and wellness, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) hosted a Health and Wellness Fair for employees at its David P. Meaney Education Center on April 9. This year's theme: "We'll All Be Feelin' Groovy."

The health fair was organized to teach employees how to improve health in all aspects of their lives, featuring some of the resources available to assist them in achieving a healthier lifestyle.

Learning opportunities were available with information about nutrition, cancer screening/prevention, blood and organ donation, exercise, dental health, mental health, and a lot more. Staff received information about eating healthy, routine exercise, managing stress, safety, and annual wellness exams.
