Board Adopts Resolutions in Honor of SCOE Employees

Recognition Celebrations Will Be Held Throughout May

The many contributions of Sacramento County Office of Education certificated and classified staff are being recognized this month. At its May 4th meeting, the Sacramento County Board of Education adopted two resolutions in honor of SCOE employees:

  • Resolution 04-08 Designating May 12, 2004, as the Day of the Teacher in Sacramento County
  • Resolution 04-09 Designating May 16-22, 2004, as Classified School Employees' Week in Sacramento County

Celebrations will be held throughout the month at various Sacramento County Office of Education sites. The Sacramento County Board of Education formally presented its Classified School Employees Week resolution on Wednesday, May 19, 2 p.m., in the McCuen Plaza located on Mather Boulevard adjacent to SCOE's David P. Meaney Education Center.
