SELPA Operations (Ops) Council

The Sacramento County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Operations (Ops) Council is a committee that advises the SELPA Administrator and the Superintendents’ Coordinating Council on areas of concern that will impact each local educational agency (LEA).

The Ops Council develops and reviews procedures and makes recommendations regarding the implementation, administration, and operation of special education programs and services at their local level and SELPA-wide. The Council meets monthly and is composed of special education directors (or designees) from each SELPA member district.
