Culinary Café
NAVIGATION
The Culinary Café is a “school-to-world” partnership between educational programs within the Special Education Department at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE). It serves students from throughout the county, offering the opportunity to learn skills necessary for success in the food services profession. The SCOE students get to join the regional “farm-to-fork” movement as a component of the Sustainable Environments Learning Academy, which promotes food literacy and builds career skills.
Located on the Leo A. Palmiter Junior/Senior High School campus, the Culinary Café serves lunch on specific Thursdays during the traditional school year (typically from 12–1 p.m. on Thursdays, November through May).
