Early Childhood Resources
NAVIGATION
Project TEACH helps connect families with children ages birth through five years to early learning programs. Project TEACH also helps community-based agencies and early childhood education programs to collaborate with homeless liaisons who serve children and families experiencing homelessness.
Project TEACH supports this work to comply with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (Subtitle VII-B), which entitles homeless children and youth to a free, appropriate public education—including preschool. The law applies to state and local educational agencies, including children in public preschool programs. (Learn more about educational rights for homeless youth.)
