Safe Schools Regional Training

The Prevention & Early Intervention Department provides technical assistance and training opportunities for educators and community members interested in creating safe school environments, developing school safety and crisis response plans, and preventing bullying in schools. In partnership with the California School/Law Enforcement Partnership and the California Department of Education, PASS provides workshops throughout the 10-county Capital Region to assist school/community teams to meet state requirements for developing and implementing safe school plans and crisis response plans, as well as implementing school-wide bullying prevention strategies.

Participants​​​

Participants include educators, parents, community members, counselors, nurses, law enforcement representatives from all Capital Region school districts, and SCOE Special Education, Court School, and Community School programs.

Partners​​

Partners include the California Department of Education, county/district prevention coordinators, district/school personnel, parents/community members, community-based organizations, and law enforcement agencies.
