Elke Uno, Registrar for Elinor Lincoln Hickey Jr./Sr. High School, was nominated by Vice Principal Jenn Kunkle for going above and beyond. To describe her merely as a great multitasker would not do justice to everything she accomplishes. Since starting in 2017 as the registrar for the community schools and Senior Extension, she has been responsible for the accurate entry of students into PowerSchool. She also answers the phones for programs, helping redirect calls of prospective students and assisting families. Her patience with each phone call lets families and students know that they are important. She never rushes, and she does her best to ensure that each conversation ends with a clear next step. She shows the same patience with staff, pausing her own work to help when it’s needed.
