Inclusive Practices
The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is committed to advancing equitable, inclusive systems where every learner experiences belonging, access, and meaningful participation. Grounded in a vision of rightful presence and high expectations for all, the Inclusive Practices department partners with educators, families, and community agencies to transform systems, not just supports. Its work spans local districts and regional networks, providing professional learning, coaching, and technical assistance aligned with the Universal Design for Learning framework, the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, and evidence-based inclusive practices. Through collaborative partnerships and resource development, SCOE supports sustainable change that ensures students with disabilities are fully included and valued in all educational environments.
