The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Adult Education Department provides technical assistance, professional development, coordinated communication services, and capacity building to adult education agencies throughout California. Team members and subject matter experts work creatively with partners to provide support for those in the field. The goal is to help adult learners succeed—in their post-secondary education, career, and in the community—no matter where they are in their educational journey.

The Outreach and Technical Assistance Network provides electronic collaboration and information, along with support for instructional technology and distance learning to literacy and adult education providers in California. OTAN is composed of three major components: electronic collaboration and information, instructional technology, and distance learning.

USA Learns Website - Teaching English Around the World

USA Learns is a free website that helps adults learn English and prepare for U.S. citizenship online. This popular website, visited by nearly 14,000,000 adults around the world, teaches English and U.S. citizenship by providing engaging multimedia content and educational activities. Learners have the opportunity to study independently or with the support of their teacher.
 
Four English courses to help you learn beginning and intermediate English. The courses include videos and interactive learning activities to help you practice and improve your English skills in listening comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking and life skills.
