The College & Career Readiness Mentoring Programs at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) are grounded in a vision for relationship‑centered schools where all youth have access to a web of relationship support from caring adults and peers across educational settings, including in-school and after-school environments, that build their social capital to promote their pursuit of their passions, skills and interests; enable their access to and exploration of spaces where these can be pursued; and help them overcome personal and/or institutional obstacles.
