English 1 and Honors English 1

There is a sufficient number of McDougal Littell, Language of Literature (1997) textbooks.  However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks are not consistent with content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for Reading/Language Arts is 1999 and the State content standards were adopted in 1997.)

English 4

There is a sufficient number of McDougal Littell, Language of Literature (1994) textbooks.  However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks used for this course are not consistent with content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for Reading/Language Arts is 1999 and the State content standards were adopted in 1997.) 

ELD Social Studies (1 & 2) Newcomers

There is a sufficient number of Steck Vaughn, American History: Lands and Liberty (1997) textbooks.  However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks used for this course are not consistent with content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for History-Social Science is 2001 and the State content standards were adopted in 1998.)

Geography

There is a sufficient number of Glencoe, World Geography (publication date 1997) textbooks.  However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks used for this course are not consistent with content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for History/Social Science is 2001 and the State content standards were adopted in 1998.)

World History

There is a sufficient number of Prentice Hall, World History – Connections To Today (1997) textbooks.  However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks used for this course are not consistent with content and cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The most recent State Curriculum Frameworks adoption date for History-Social Science is 2001 and the State content standards were adopted in 1998.)
