In the above noted classroom, the students did not have sufficient instructional materials in science. (Education Code Section 51210 describes the adopted course of study for grades 1-6. Education Code Section 1240(h) requires the county superintendent of schools to enforce the course of study. Science is a required course of study for grades 1-6.)
