There is a sufficient number of Houghton Mifflin, World History Across the Centuries (publication date 1991) textbooks. However, based on the age of the materials, we believe the textbooks are not consistent with the content or cycle of the state curriculum frameworks and state board adopted content standards. (The History-Social Science content standards were adopted in 1998 and the most recent State Curriculum Framework for History-Social Science is 2001.)
