Launched in 2014, SCOE's School of Education includes programs to help new teachers get their credentials and aspiring leaders to become administrators. The School of Education is comprised of two divisions: Teaching and Leading.

The "Teaching" division of the School of Education incorporates an Intern Program, supporting candidates in a variety of ways during their mandatory "pre-service," as a full time teacher, and throughout their two-year Intern Program. Also part of this division is the BTSA (Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment) teacher credentialing program for new teachers.

The "Leading" division of the School of Education includes the Leadership Institute, a collaboration with local school districts that prepares and supports both current and aspiring education leaders.
