The BTSA Teacher Credentialing Program provides two years of sequenced support and assessment that leads to a Clear Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Educational Specialist Credential. Through the support of mentors, candidates apply the learning acquired in teacher preparation to the realities of daily classroom teaching. Using the Formative Assessment for California Teachers (FACT) system, candidates build collaborative relationships and develop sound pedagogical practices and competencies that advance student learning.

SCOE's induction program includes schedule flexibility, job-embedded professional development tailored to individual teaching needs, support and mentoring from experienced and trained support providers, and individual credentialing advisement.

Visit the BTSA Sacramento website or the BTSA overview video (YouTube) for more information.

Partners
