Infant Development Program
Sacramento County Office of EducationProgram Philosophy
We recognize that parents and families are the first and primary teachers of their children. Through a supportive, caring, family-focused relationship, we are dedicated to strengthen and guide the education of children and to provide a link between families and their community. We will identify children who have special needs. We will serve these children and their families based on evidence based practices for early childhood education. We will provide the necessary support in order to serve the child in the least restrictive environment. We will serve as facilitators for cooperative practices involving family, school and community agencies. We will appreciate and respond to the differences inherent in families and within the community.
