Joseph Mullen was born on March 25, 1910 in Rising Sun, Indiana. He was the son of John Will Mullen, born in Rising Sun, Indiana on February 23, 1877 and Frankie Beck Clore (Mullen) born in Duncansby, Mississippi on November 17, 1881. Both of John's parents were born in Rising Sun, Indiana.
Della Kathryne Langley was born Januaery 29, 1914 in Lodi, California. Her parents were George Donaldson Langly, born on February 11, 1878 in Stanwood, Washington and Laura Belle Eisenman, born April 11,1881 in Hoisington, Kansas. Della Mullen was related to John Alden and Priscilla Mullins who came over on the Mayflower.
Joseph and Della were married on December 9, 1933 in Lodi, California. They lived the greater majority of there live in Lodi, Galt and Elk Grove. Joseph worked as a cannery warehouse foreman, first for Foster & Wood in Lodi and then for Del Monte on Stockton Blvd. in Sacramento. Della was a homemaker all of her life.
Joseph and Della had three children:
1. Rosalyn
2. Elvin of Elk Grove
3.George of Lodi
