ERVIN CARSKADDON

(Died: October 9, 1996)

Ervin Carskaddon was born April 18, 1921 in Fresno, California. He was a Marine in World War II. He and his family moved to Elk Grove in 1948. At that time he worked at Harold Traxler off Sheldon and Grant Line Roads. He also worked for Roy Myers Ranches for awhile. He then went to work for Sacramento Signal Årmy Depot. In 1986 he retired from that job and opened Carskaddon Power Equipment located on Grant Line Road in the Sheldon area. This store was run by his son for about 10 years. Mr. Carskaddon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. Mr. Carskaddon died October 9, 1996 in Elk Grove, after a long illness. His wife's name is Ada and they were married 56 years.
