Selection and Appointments for the 2010-2012 Term
The Sacramento County Board of Education announces its intention to select and appoint individuals to the Sacramento County Local Child Care and Development Planning Council (LPC) for a 2010-2012 term.
The Board of Education invites interested individuals and public organizations to submit nominations to fill these vacancies. The mission of the Sacramento County LPC is to promote the development of quality child care in the county through community education, collaboration, and advocacy.
Education Code § 8499.3(d) states: "Every effort shall be made to ensure that the ethnic, racial, and geographic composition of the local planning council is reflective of the ethnic, racial, and geographic distribution of the population of the county."
To be considered, interested individuals and public organizations should mail or fax
