Nominations for the 2008-2010 Term of Appointment
The Sacramento County Board of Education announces its intent to select and appoint individuals to the Sacramento County Local Child Care and Development Planning Council
for the 2008-2010 term in all categories: Consumers, Child Care Providers, Public Agency Representatives, and Community Representatives.
The Council works to promote the development of quality child care in Sacramento County through community education, collaboration and advocacy.
The Sacramento County Board of Education invites interested individuals and public organizations to submit nominations to fill these vacancies. The Council has many duties and responsibilities. For further information, visit the Planning Council Web site.
Education Code section 8499.3(d) states: "Every effort shall be made to ensure that the ethnic, racial, and geographic composition of the local planning council is reflective of the ethnic, racial, and geographic distribution of the population of the county."
To be considered, interested individuals and public organizations are asked to mail or fax nominations to:
