Education, Training & Experience

Ms. Ryan has been affiliated with SEEDS as both a Specialized Consultant and as a Core Consultant starting in 1997. In August 2001 she joined the Sacramento County Office of Education, SEEDS Project Staff. Ms. Ryan has had the ongoing opportunity to interact with international, national, state and local programs serving families and children with disabilities. She has presented at both state and national conferences and has provided training, group facilitation and technical assistance to LEAs throughout California on varied topics such as; parent-to-parent support, early intervention, special education, inclusion, advocacy, legal resource, appreciative inquiry, leadership/mentoring, and community programs.

Ms. Ryan has facilitated countless parent input meetings statewide as a participant on the California Department of Education's Special Education Division's Verification Review Team. She has been extensively involved in the design and implementation of comprehensive materials, databases and Web sites utilized by programs throughout California.
